Does it lie flat when open?
Yes: thanks to the spiral it lies completely flat on every page, and the pages fold all the way round, to behind the book. Handy for a cookbook, reader or manual.
How many pages can it have?
24 to 100, an even number; A4 portrait up to 160. Fewer than 24, or an odd number? Then we add blank pages at the end.
Does the cover need a file of its own?
No: the cover is in your PDF. The first page is the front, the last page the back. A clear sheet on the front and back protects them.
What colour is the spiral?
You choose silver, white or black. The spiral is made of metal.
What is bleed?
An edge of a few millimetres around your design, which is cut off after printing. Let backgrounds and photos run into the bleed, so you get no white edges.
Do you check my design?
We automatically check that your file has the right size and number of pages. We don't check the content, like spelling and colours: we print what you upload. So check the preview carefully.
