Frequently asked questions
How many pages can it have?
24 to 60, in steps of 4: every sheet, folded in the middle, gives 4 pages. Not a multiple of 4, or fewer than 24? Then we add blank pages at the end.
Does the cover need a file of its own?
For most sizes, yes. For A4 portrait, the cover is in your PDF: its first two and last two pages are the outside and inside of the cover. The specifications show which it is for your size.
How is it bound?
The pages are folded and stapled in the middle, so it opens easily and the pages turn nicely.
Do you have a design tool?
No: you design it yourself, in any program that can save a PDF, like Canva, InDesign or Word. Then you upload it here.
What is bleed?
An edge of a few millimetres around your design, which is cut off after printing. Let backgrounds and photos run into the bleed, so you get no white edges.
Do you check my design?
We automatically check that your file has the right size and number of pages. We don't check the content, like spelling and colours: we print what you upload. So check the preview carefully.
