What is dibond?
Two thin aluminium sheets with a plastic core and a white coating. It's light and sturdy, and it doesn't warp.
Aluminium or dibond?
On aluminium, white isn't printed: there you see the brushed metal, for an industrial look. Dibond has a white surface, so white stays white and colours are bright.
How does it hang?
Choose it under Hanging system: an adhesive system, floating, or spacers.
What resolution do I need?
For sharp photos, 300 dpi at the size you choose. The specifications show how many pixels that is: choose "px" there.
What if my file has a different size?
Then we zoom in until it fits exactly, and what falls outside is cut off. If more than 2% is lost, we warn you. The preview shows you right away how it turns out.
What is bleed?
An edge of a few millimetres around your design, which is cut off after printing. Let backgrounds and photos run into the bleed, so you get no white edges.
Do you check my design?
We automatically check that your file has the right size and number of pages. We don't check the content, like spelling and colours: we print what you upload. So check the preview carefully.
